This gorgeous getting ready portrait is among my all-time favorites. The eyes, the light, the softness. Yum. We decided to enter this image as our #2 entry in the spring ISPWP contest. I wonder how it will do?

My favorite vendor has announced a sale on these super cute mini books, so we’re putting together a special little promotion for our recent clients. If you’ve been thinking about making an album for your parents or just something fun for someone special, now is the perfect time.
The 5×5 pictured here has a custom cover and 20 of your favorite images inside. The sale price is $150 for the first copy or 2 for $250.
The 8×8 is exactly the same, but, well, bigger. The groovy sale price is $200 for the first copy or 2 for $350.
All you need to do is order by April 15th. To order, just give me a call or drop me a line with your list of 20 photos. And if you want me to pick for you, I’m happy to do that too.

As members of ISPWP, we enter two images in each quarterly contest. It’s nice when we win, since there are so many great photographers who enter. But we don’t make a big deal of it–we only send in our two free entries. One of our pics got a mention last quarter, and this time I thought I would try something a little more fun. Here’s one of our spring quarter contest entries.
Making albums is my favorite part of wedding photography. In fact, we love albums so much that each and every client of ours has some kind of album included in their package. It feels special to be involved in creating something that will have meaning and substance for a couple as their love grows.
We propose a design for each couple, based on the images we think are the best and that also tells the story of the day. But from that point, it’s up to our clients to pick the images that they love and best connect them to the feelings about their wedding.
Our clients can take advantage of an unlimited number of design revisions. Only when our clients are sure that the album is exactly as they wish do we send it to our talented printer and bookbinder.
Here’s the finished design from Colleen and Kevin’s wonderfully intimate wedding that took place on Dec 30 of last year.
