Katie and Josh at St Patrick’s Cathedral

We consider ourselves fortunate when we get to photograph sisters. We met Katie at her sister’s wedding a few years ago–and Katie also asked us to photograph her wedding to Josh in early September. St Patrick’s cathedral was the natural choice for this couple, since everything about their wedding was classically traditional. After a full wedding mass, Katie and Josh rolled away in a vintage Bentley to rejoin their guests in the Heritage ballroom at the Governor Hotel. It’s a gorgeous equation: lovely bride + friendly and funny groom + 4 sweet sisters + loving families = perfect wedding day.

I think my favorite part of this day was the few minutes we had with Josh and Katie before they were announced into their reception. We took a few minutes to make some soft and sweet wedding portraits in the prettiest little side room. I love the look of the creamy columns and the way the light filled the room. I adore the photo of you and Josh by the window–it’s my favorite of all your photos.

Best wishes from John and I. Here’s a slideshow of our favorites.
