Cecily and George, married at Waverley Country Club

How many kinds of perfect can you think of? I could use up all the ones I know of to describe Cecily and George’s wedding day. To begin: Perfect weather. Perfect setting. Perfectly lovely Cecily and perfectly handsome & funny George. Everywhere we looked, everywhere we photographed was filled with layer after layer of pretty & fun & laughter & love. Looking back on the photos makes me wish I could spend some more time inside these frames.

I’ve never seen the Waverley look prettier. That classic combination of green grass, blue sky, and white clapboards was a crisp counterpart to George and his guys in navy and khaki with fantastic pink and blue rep ties. Cecily’s girls’ champagne dresses were the perfect foil for punchy hot pink heels and bouquets featuring shades of pink, magenta and fuschia.

Perfect light graced the ceremony. Sun sparkled on the water and turned the branches above into a glowing green canopy. The breeze ruffled the petaled skirt of the reader and the sweet golden light of evening raked across their exchange of vows.

Really, what could be more perfect?
