Kristen & Rob, Married at the Jenkins Estate

Early Fall is the finest time to marry in Oregon. The weather is uniformly perfect. The trees begin to show a touch of color. But more than that, the ever-so-slight change in the season makes us all feel something special. When the weather starts to change, I think it reminds us that time is passing, that life is important and that every day is special. That sense of autumn’s beginning was definitely in the air for Rob and Kristen’s beautiful wedding on August 18th.

It’s an added gift when your children can join you at the altar as you begin a life together. Kristen’s sweet daughter, Phoebe, stepped in as flower girl. Rob’s children Amanda and Erik stood up with their dad as bridesmaid and groomsman. To that delightful mix add parents, brothers, and dear friends and now you’ve got a whole new family embarking on a future together.

My favorite part of the day was stealing Rob and Kristen away as the light faded in the evening. As it always does this time of year, we were surprised by how quickly the sun dropped in the sky. But my favorite photos area of Kristen and Rob enjoying each other in the dusky light. Congrats you two! On finding love and for building a whole new family together. Enjoy this little collection of our favorites while we finish working on your proofs.
